easy to install one a windows machine, takes longer more complicated on Linux/Unix.
Anyone can have a server some are free and some are paid.

Like PM(Private Message) system in Dragonfly, but how private is the question? With servers 'in control of Who?' This implies a high encryption overhead. In effect you are saying an intranet inside internet. Without physical control of servers by trusted someones, not possible to completely secure.
